Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, they did not respect my wishes. I was experiencing some nasty respiratory issues over the weekend that convinced me to schedule a COVID PCR test on Monday. (That turned into a whole big thing unrelated to COVID because I have some not-uncommon partial collapses of small airways in my lungs, a risk anytime you're intubated during surgery.)

I'm still waiting for the results of my COVID test, and it's Thursday night. The results are supposed to get texted to me. I'll have to call tomorrow if I haven't gotten a text by the time I wake up, find out what the hold-up is. I was told it would be 2-3 days to get my results. I'm hoping it turns out negative because I used Enovid before and after surgery, and because there was another explanation for my symptoms, but this shouldn't even be something I have to worry about.
