Easy Bread Machine Pizza Dough Recipe
Our family enjoys Pizza Night once a week, and because of our financial hardships, we’ve stopped ordering pizza as takeout in favor of making pizza at home. I adapted the recipe that came with our first bread machine to be a bit more nutritious and also more flavorful — without ruining the texture.
Pizza Dough Ingredients
¾ cup warm water
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 ½ tsp salt
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white whole-wheat flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp active dry yeast
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning (optional)
Pizza Dough Directions
Set your bread machine to its dough setting. Place all ingredients in your bread machine pan in the order listed. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to make the dough. Makes 1 pound of pizza dough.
Recipe Notes
Though part of the all-purpose flour has been swapped for white whole-wheat flour, I do not recommend swapping out more of the flour this way, as it affects the dough’s consistency and ease of use.
